Hope someone can help please.

I would be grateful if anyone could advise as to what size spur gear and motor pinion to use on a durango dex 210. At present it will be run on a losi standard speed control with a losi 13.5T motor.

The car will be raced at tracks similar to York and Batley.

Eventually I want to upgrade the motor and speed controller so any advice on what best motor, gearing and speed controller would help too, hoping to sort the gearing out for York on Saturday so if you can help either by reply or PM I would really appreciate it:eh?:

Heres hoping

kind regards and thank you

Just cross reference the recommended ratio for your motor to the spur your running.

I currently race at Batley and run an 8.5 lrp x20 geared 25/81 that got me C6 at last weekends regional,

The dex210 rtr uses a 13.5 and that geared on a 29/81 but this was quite slow on uk tracks. I change to a 29/75 and it was better but watch the temps - if you can you would be better off changing to a lower wind motor if the esc can take it
