Bit of advice please.

Have just got a Losi XXX from ebay with excelorin brushless s/c and 6400 motor and lipo.

On looking at the lipo - it is a flightpower 11.1v 3 cell pack with separate small 4 wire plug ( I assume charging input). It is very tightly fixed in, can't be removed without removing front chassis brace over the servo.

I only brought the car for a bit of fun/trial of lipo as it was such a good deal to get the brushless combo/lipo/all quality radio gear so not bothered re legality etc, but...

1.Whats the difference between the flightpower and the more commonly quoted trackpower lipo's (or alternatives)?
2.Is 11.1v bit too much and should I revert to 7.4v packs?
3.Are the stabdard trackpower/car-suitable lipos slightly different size so can be more easily removed from an XXX graphite?
4. Surely the ?charging lead is an advantage?

Many thanks in advance.

trakpower are car packs in hard cases, yours is not hard cased aimed at planes

not able to answer number 2

yes they the same size as a stick pack

some chargers will charge through the white plug but its mainly a balance connector, which the car packs have, you just need the suitable loom from trakpower
