Stuart Wood joins the Kyosho team and will compete with the RB5 and ZX5 FS for the rest of the year and next years National series. Stuart already raced the RB5 with some success during the 2007 season, making National A finals with the car. It's long overdue, but Karl Marsden of Kyosho UK is the man responsible for bringing the team together and Stuart will lead the charge for Kyosho as their #1 driver in the UK.

Stuart said "Kyosho is the only team I wanted to race for so this is a dream come true. I'm really enthusiastic about the upcoming season and the opportunity I have to show what these cars can do!"

Round two of the popular Worksop winter series this coming weekend will be the debut for Stuart with both of the new cars.

Hi Guys,

Many thanks Stu/Jimmy for posting the news!

It's really good to see the support out there for Kyosho, and the kinds words for Stu.

I wanted to take the oppertunity to talk about a few things as Stu's arrival has created so many questions.

In a nut shell, we plan to move slowly and surly forward into the 2009 season in all classes. Personally I would like to bring racers, shops and clubs closer together by supporting a few good guys to represent the product in a good light and spirit and in key locations.

Already there are a guys to mention, and I don't want to forget any, but the drivers who have supported my move and given Kyosho 110% in this short period so far, have all experienced better results whether it be in 2wd, touring, 1/8th Buggy or Truggy.

That in turn gives me confidence to know that we have a sound exciting package available, and that we have very basic morals in how we want to help racers get the best from Kyosho. The future looks really good, with lots going on, but for now, slowly but surley we will build a good foundation for Kyosho racing products here in the UK.

Mike Craddock, "The Main Man" in the UK regarding all team issues, shares the same principles as myself in what we want as a team to represent Kyosho for the future. Mike is working hard on the MP9 & Inferno ST-RR team side of things for next season, whilst I feel I can help generate the EP Team in spare time I have.

Stu's location is excellent for us, he covers the North West now for representation, and with his new club soon to open, make sure you go along on the 2nd November and give the club some support!

Kyosho UK support our Model shop customers and with our team drivers, we offer a chance for the local shop & club to be involved in what we have to offer throughout the Kyosho range. After all, without the clubs and local shops, where would we be today @ Worksop!?

Good to see some old great faces today, and really good to see Craggy again at Worksop!

The HUGE entry is credit to Muzzy & Leon, there is something about the Worksop venue, and long may it continue at this great venue!

Best of luck Stu for 2009, and thanks for the support agian Jimmy.

Karl Marsden
