While we have a thread on which 4wd, it seems a good time to ask about 2wd.

Now the B5M is here and the TM2V2 is out there, which is the best in people's minds? Is the new 210v2 worth a look at or are there others?

I currently have a tc02c but bought it 2nd hand with intention of getting a shiny new one at some point, so which should I get?

I race at Batley, outdoor is part astro, part grass if that helps with advice?

I'm loving my B5M. They're brilliant cars and very strong. I must have easily 30 hours on it now.

I had read that thread and wondered if Neil's post was the definitive answer - I hadn't considered a yokomo and wondered if the b5m was living up to expectations. Also, no mention had been made of tm2 which I've heard good things about.
Mind you, if Bmax2 is car of choice at Batley then it makes sense, simply to make most of experience already there

asking which is the best buggy is the same as asking which is the best footie team, everyone have their favorites.

i would look at either the team C TM2 V2 or the xray

I am running the new Team C TM2V2 over here in holland. On carpet its a monster. Since yesterday i chamged some around and went to our outside lowgrip astro/mud track. Its great, better then the tc02evo if u ask me. The car carries so much corner speed, it is ridiculus. With the right setup and weight balnce i think its a bomb to drive.

Drove a tlr 22 2.0 before, car was very good, it waa just not as stable as the TM2V2 is.

Try to drive a few cars to suit ur feeling. Its always a search what feels best in the end. Good luck

I am running both a KF and a B5M. Worked out for the cost of a log grip conversion kit for the KF plus a couple of shorties and I could but a 2nd car.
Both cars are good, but have found the B5M is a better car all around and I am only quicker with the KF on high grip circuits.
Have abused both cars and both seem pretty strong but I think the B5M has the edge on durability.

Love my Schumacher KF at the moment although i only really race on carpet. The other car that interests me is the Kyosho RB6 it looks very well made on paper but never really had chance to look at one close up.

I tried a tm2 v1 and it was ok but when I got the tm2 v2 it was a different better animal. I have now got a KF with the LG kit but found I could be faster and more consistent with the tm2 v2. I think that the issue was my setup on the KF was far off so will continue with it. There are so many cars now in 2wd that it does seem like a bit of a minefield.

Thanks all. I realise that car choice is a personal thing, and think I will go with Bmax. So now just to decide on v2, MR, worlds, v3 etc.

So much choice...:woot:

The B5M is an amazing car to drive. Only done 1 race(meeting) with mine so, but really loving driving it.
