Are there any charts out there that suggest what gearing should be used for what motor? I have just swapped out a motor in my Durango for my son.
It's a 20 turn brushed motor (replacing the 13.5 brushless that was there) and it's getting quite hot on the standard gearing which is a final drive ratio of 7.26. Should I be aiming for something more like 8 or 9 for this motor?
