Schumacher spikes, fastrax course kings or bullseye. If your bashing I'd go with the course kings, racing, the Schuey spikes seem to be top choice

CML have never had any other compounds than T1 I have had the others on back order for months. Was told yesterday they are still 3-4 weeks away.
On another note the Kourskings no longer come with inserts but the price has dropped to £10 a pair. The Fastrax yellow insert is available for £5 a pair.

Will the course kings fit proline wheels, I had the bullseye before and they were a strange fitment, the tyre was glued to a flat horizontal surface on each side of the wheel?
Thanks

Kourse kings will be ok on most rims (std fit)
The bullseye is a traxxas style bead hence your issues...
Shame that the Kourse kings don't come with the green inserts anymore, they were a cracking deal with those in, still they are a very good sc tyre. Similar compound to a schuey blue, due to the profile a bit more traction and a touch lees side grip. They were my favourite general purpose astro tyre on my desc410.

Have you tried the kit Associated front tyres ? I seem to remember they worked pretty well up front with a pair of Schumacher yellow spikes at the back.
Staggers are quite aggressive .. even with the inner and outer rows trimmed off !!

Bought the SC second-hand so at the moment I have course kings on the back and worn fastax mini pins on the front  hence my questions

I found that on astro cut staggers were too aggressive, but on grass they are great. For astro bullseye on the front seemed to work much better and as others gave said Schumacher yellow minispikes on the rear.

Ok as swindon has just finished building a 1/10th grass track I may go with staggers on the front then
Cheers
