Here we have a Mardave v12 upgraded almost to the max! J Both my Bro and I have spent the last few weeks making a stock mardave into the perfect racer.

What it has;
· Pre cut Carbon Fibre vinyl
· A Set of Racing Bearing’s
· Full set of upgrade spring’s
· Custom made battery placement
· Motor Heat Sink
· 4 Cell 3500

As you can see from the above picture we have a very nicely painted shell with GB flag Decals.

Here you can see the Carbon fibre vinyl, it looks much better in real life, it is very effective and has already fooled several people!

Above shows our custom placement of cell’s, we got rid of the arrangement that came stock and made our own adjustments allowing us to secure the cells in via Velcro (what would we do with out Velcro)

Sorry for the poor pictures, if you have any questions please let me know!

Hi Kevin,
Looks cool.

For the battery placement, you really need a pair of Mardave Cobra battery braces, then you'll have to drill and sink some holes under the chassis and the cells will never come loose.

I have a heap of Mardave V12 stuff, I used to race them, I have no idea exactly what there is, but I do know there is a new chassis, new lexan shell and enough spares to make many more V12's (including Cobra battery braces). PM me if interested.

Hi Kevin,

Ever tried towing a trailer with it ?

I ran my Hotrod at the V12 World Championships on the Sunday and I was trailer racing at my local club with it on the Tues.

Great fun and at first its so difficult to work out how to overtake cleanly.

The max laps I`ve got at my club is 91 and with the trailer tonight I got 79 laps so we are getting used to them.

I think its part of the enjoyment of low cost Mardave racing.
One minute you are racing the top boys / girls at National level with your Hotrod, next minute its changed in to a Banger, next trailer racing and finish with Transit Van racing. :D

Hey Ashley,
Target have taken it today, so you'll defo have it tomorrow!

I did Caravan racing, I made a chassis up and built a caravan out of cardboard, looked really good too - not 'boxlike' and was funny to drive. I made it so well that I didn't break it either, I smashed a few other caravans up being towed by other V12's but I did aim! ha ha.
