Hi guys,

Track will be open to practice Saturday afternoon. On site camping available saturday night, plenty of pubs, places to eat & b&bs 5 minutes away in weston super mare. On site cafe will be open all day Sunday from 8am with cooked breakfast & hot & cold food all day. Full info up on here later in the week. Our club info sheet is on the SC website already.

Will update in the next 48 hours.

Cheers Paul

I will be looking to camp onsite, but wanted to know what the chances are of arriving friday night and leaving monday morning as its a very long way to pull the caravan for an "overnighter" and then getting away sunday night??

I didnt get home till 10pm from Robin Hood and work Monday was hard work after not getting in till then and then having to unpack everything?

Thanks
Justin

Hello Justin,

I dont think that should be a problem. We will have to make sure someone will be around Friday to let you onto site. Any idea what time you might arrive? Please PM me your telephone number.

Cheers Paul

Quincey please see the separate post regarding camping & the site. All the info is there.

Camping is controlled by our landlord as below.
Camping/camper vans/caravans are £7 per night and we have 5 individual caravan pitches with their own water supply, these are £8 a night.

As far as a model shop we are waiting on confirmation.

Thanks

Per tent Qunicey. There will be a Paypal link on the Mendip website next week to pay in advance. The admin of Camping charges is being taken over by the club so thats why we are setting up a PayPal system so its hassle free for everyone.

Thanks

Paul

Hi Guys

I'm sorry to say that I won't make it to Mendip with the shop.

However if you need anything bringing down I will put the stuff in a box and get it down with someone who is driving.

If this person has room I will also give him the Durango truck spares in case anyone gets stuck.

In addition I spent a bit of time this week updating the site with more truck spares. I am breaking a 2wd truck as well so if you need anything at all then let me know.

Many thanks

Alex

Southwest RC will be at the race with general spares but they don't stock a lot of truck parts. I suggest you contact them ASAP if you need anything specific for the weekend.
