Best Hauler / Method of holding everything?

I was looking at haulers and ways of getting all my stuff to the track and back without having lots of different boxes!

I race for classes, 1/8th nitro, 1/8th electric and 2wd and 4wd 1/10th so have plenty of parts to fit in!

I like the look of the hudy hauler, but it is sooooo expensive!

What way do you guys do it?

You get what you pay for the Hudy one does look the best but is exspensive i've got the Fastrax one and it is starting to fall apart Quite afew people are starting to use the Ogio 9800 so they might be worth a look at too

Are you looking to haul stuff, or arrange neatly?

I have one myself as I travel by public transport, and it's absolutely awesome. It's big enough to smuggle a person in your luggage, three midgets, or of course two cars, spares and most of my camping equipment for an RC weekend :thumbsup: (Note: The camping equipment excludes a chair and pit table).

So its main advantage is obviously the amount of stuff you can store in it (and yes it will still fit in your car, through doors) :p Besides that it has a tough build and good stability and ground clearance, so it keeps on rolling where over grass and gravel when many RC haulers either unstable and tip over - which results in the sight of people carrying around a hauler (which I doubt is the convenient experience one hopes for when purchasing a hauler). I must say, it's also for the better that the Ogio bag keeps on rolling, because when empty it already weighs in at nearly 6.5kg!

If you like using boxes and bags to keep things separated and want a shipping container to carry it around, the Ogio should be on your list. If you want drawers and neat arrangements, ignore what I just said and get an RC hauler or Polybutler. Also, if you're still reading, consider that you'll be spending 150GBP on average (depending on the bag's styling/colours) if buy the Ogio bag...

I have been using the large HPI Hauler and its been great so far no trouble and seems well made. Don't suppose its up to Hudy standard but for around £120 its quite well priced.

The RC haulers are both expensive, build quality isn't great and are hopeless at traversing anything other than a smooth surface.
The Ogio bag is built for motocross, its tough, good quality and can hold a lot of kit.

I just got the racing experience 1/8th hauler and its awesome, I had two 45ltr boxes full of stuff and it swallowed the lot.

Cant personally comment on quality as only got it yesterday and its not yet eft the house LOL Matt Owen at SRCMCC has been using one for 2yrs and it still looks like new so based on that and his recommendation I got one for £89.99 delivered from Bolton Model Marts eBay page.

Easy to work out of and keep things in the same place at home and at the track, but if your looking for some to just move the kit around the OGIO is very good and very popular!

I looked at an Ogio bag, but in the end I have gone with an AKA hauler. So far it's seemed spot on!!! Build quality is excellent and it has plenty of space. Ran over the wobbly astro and stones at TORCH last weekend with no problems.

I am also interested in a hauler. What size is the racing experience one from Bolton Model Mart? I want it to stand up in the boot of the car so interested in the height.

The "Racing Experience" one gives no dimensions, but it looks to be the same as a standard "large" hauler and they are approx. 60*60*40 cm.
Mine fits in my boot, but I have an estate car. I have the HPI one if I recall correctly (I know I should know!!)
