Hi, I am trying to set up my esc on my dex210 rtr.

The esc and motor is a speed passion revention combo. I have managed to bind the RTR receiver ok and set up the throttle settings using the bundled radio gear. All ok.

The problem comes when I put in a core rc fhss receiver (because I want to run all cars from my one transmitter). The receiver is bound and steering response is great, however when I am trying to set the throttle points on the esc I am getting no response.

I have tried reversing the setting on the transmitter, switched off all the EPA and trims but I am getting no response at all. Battery is fine and esc seems to work with the other setup.

Any ideas????????

Try disconnecting a motor connection? Worked for me.

??? bit confused, how would that work? I know you have to disconnect a motor wire to bind the receiver....but to set the throttle you have to put back all the motor plugs even on the rtr setup.

Just can't fathom if it's a receiver issue or not

I had a similar problem. Not sure how or why but found by disconnecting a motor connection then reconnecting the ESC binded without any problems.
