Hi guys,

This weekend I have my first race with the bj4 ride and I haven´t got the chance to run the car yet. I´m trimming the steering in the first qualifying run  The track has a roof and the surface is hard packed and mainly covered with carpet and kinda fake grass. Here you can see a track pic:

I´m running GTB 6,5 4200 lipos with some added weight (total 330gr)

Thanks a lot.

Is it a worlds edition or the original stick pack car?

(Track looks dialled!)

Try starting off with the lipo setup I was running at worksop...

Except green springs on the back and leave the extra ballast weight out, the car is much better with the CG moved forward :)

What will you be using for tyres?

Thanks, yesteday night I was cheking out this setup sheet. So I´ll put out the weight and change the green springs for black ones.
Now I just have holeshot for the front end and for the rear mini pin, bigshot and ifmar stud.
Another thing concern me, I see your using 22t pinion with the 6,5 when a 16t in sugested (i´ve already installed)

Well, I´ve had plenty of lil troubles due to the lack of prep. The car was spining out like crazy. After changing almost everything I realized one cvd pin was touching the rear a-arm  Even with a DNF managed a 9th to the A final. I missed the first final with another DNF (pinion screw lost) but the car started to run better en finished 5th overall (I´ve to say helped by rival mistakes)
The setup was real weird at last, blues at the front and blacks at the rear end. Hole shots fwd and big shots backwards. But wasn´t real confortable in the whole race.
My last race was 3 years ago and I´ve held a transmiter since then a couple of times so my goal was just to have some fun and chat with old friend. Maybe I chatted way to much, even I rode a chopper like car when forgot to set the ride height after changing the front springs :D

what parts of the track are you spinning out on? the clay, carpet or that green astro/fake grass stuff? Find out what tyres people run if they are different to yours. If there are any of the top drivers at the club with the bj4we ask what setup they run and for tips advice on it
