Well I went down to coventry to met with Dez (RRCi editor) to get some action shots for the second part of the Cat SX review.

And I've got to say that I am still Mega impressed by the Cat SX. Its the first time I'd driven it on astro, and the first time I'd driven the coventry astro track too. And even though the set up wasn't changed from worksop, the car handled absolutely fantastic. Probably a bit low and undergeared but still went like the clappers.

I just ran a 5000core lipo through it and it was just great.
It took lots of knocks and tumbles without any breakages and the drive cups lasted even without any limiters on the shocks.

Can't wait to get this car outdoors now, and set it up properly.

I have to agree. Mine hasn't been outdoors yet but whenever I drive it I love it more. I stuck mine on the track tonight at Ockendon during practise with the 1/10th touring cars and I was lapping at least as fast if not faster than them. I've also had the car on the carpet at Wycombe and it flies. Been a long time since I've been impressed so much by a new toy

I'm waiting to try mine. Been very busy at work. Looks like it will get it's 1st run at the MK GP.

make sure your uptravel is in check as the cats have suffered at Newbury up til now!
no doubting they are a very fast car but for now you need to concentrate on making sure they finish the race !
prety sure the front one way has stronger outdrives so that removes a potential problem at one end of the car ;)
