Its for sale! I dont think i enjoy it as much, i like the lack of grip a 2wd has in comparison. Plus i need a flash gun lol.

WELL that's the weekend that I start doing nightshift at Asda... they've got me doing Friday, Saturday and Sunday (ARRGHHH!) so I guess I'll have to see if I'm able to stay awake!

SO... hopefully we'll manage to get there... with 3000 bottles of Asda-brand redbull!

Garry

This is unnecessarily risky - it will allow cookies from any source which could be a big security mistake.

The best way to do it is this...

If using Internet Explorer, when the login fails look on the status bar at the bottom. You should see an icon that looks like an eye with a no entry sign next to it.

Double click on this. It should tell you that "http://80.176.225.165/logincheck.esp" has had it cookies blocked. Right click on this and set it to "Always accept cookies from this site".

You should then be able to log in normally.

Possibly the short notice? It is a bit disappointing though, especially for the clubs who have to pay out a lot for their venues :eh?:

hmmm a few doing both classes, not sure if to do both or try to master one lol

In my eyes you've gotta be a bit brave to try 2 classes in one day. I know alot do it but it always seems like there rushing around like headless chickens.

Carver86
29-10-2008, 11:21 AM
it's ok racing two classes until you smash your chassis or diff or something that takes a while to do!

chrispattinson
29-10-2008, 11:30 AM
I just think most people havnt got round to booking in yet, I think there probably 10 or so drivers from our club not yet on there who are likely to go. I know a lot of people are thinking they'll just book in on the day, though I think we should discourage that attitude.

2 classes isnt that bad. I've done it for years.

anyone going with a laptop running the Hotwire software?

Have the Tekin Hotwire hardware and would like if possible to alter settings during the day. I can bring software on the day also on usb stick if you wouldn't mind loading it.

Would someone be able to oblige?

Great track and event. I'm a bit disappointed with my results, but had a really enjoyable day. Sorry to Mr. Myers for getting a bit annoyed when he drove down the straight with my car balanced on top of his, was  on my part.

Thanks to all the York lads for the effort they put in with the track. I would've liked to stay to help put stuff away, but time was getting on, it's a pity the meeting went on as late as it did.

Well done to all those that scored highly today. Both 4wd and 2wd A finals were very entertaining to watch.

Thanks for all the +ve feedback guys, and also thanks to the people that helped put the track up on Saturday night and put it away last night. I fully understand why people wanted to be away last night.

Unfortunately after Julie and myself spent a lot of Saturday afternoon updating everyone's formulas (we run to 2009 grades indoors) the database forgot them on Sunday morning. Great job by the guys on race control to get it sorted out so fast, otherwise Mr. Lowe was in heat 1 :woot:

Thanks,

sorry i couldnt hang around at the end but was 280 miles back home for me so had to really get going, with the weather it was still stupid oclock before i got in but very worth it

Top day out at York as usual, track was superb, but looked a bugger to get a clean run in. Well done to all the organisers.
Well done to Rich Lowe on doing the double, Loved the final with Greg, great clean racing when you were chasing him.
Also well done Northy, cant believe a car as old (if not older) then Greg went so well, good skills.

Cheers Barry, looking at the results I would have just about had the pace to hang with Rich and your Gregg and would have been ready to pounce if it had gone wrong, just a pity I had a rough start.

Enjoyed hunting down Lawson though, and just as I got on his gearbox his back-door fell out :woot:

I think the applause at the end of the final shows how well Gregg did, well done fella.

Josh took some, i assume they will be up and about in a few days.

The only gripe i had was the seeding of the heats as in our heat there were everything from f1 standard to f4 and this made life tough at times as you were coming up on cars so fast, especially on the slippy stuff when you cant go offline.

The track was difficult to put in a clean run but if you could you were rewarded with a good time.

Looking on to the IF's and we know that york can put on a great track and meeting but yesterday we had big crowds for the A finals, where will everyone stand and watch for that event?
