Faulty vampire fan?

The fan on my vampire sr1+ doesn't seem to work .so I connected it to my orion r10 should it have come on straight away I know that the vampire speedo fan aren't on continually ?

They only come on when the speedo starts to get hot.

The orion and speed passion fans come on straight away when turned on .this is why I connected the vampire fan to the orion r10 !are all cooling fans universal or is there something different in a vampire fan?

The fans are the same.
The control logic is different. Some come on all the time, which is easy to do. Stone cone on when it's hot. Which takes about 10 seconds longer to program.

So in theory I can just use my orion fan ?

As long as the power plug fits.
