Anybody got one? Any opinions on them? As the title goes are these any good for running on modern style tracks?

I'm after a runner that I can actually drive about and have fun without the worry of breaking some obsolete part and the car being out of action for several weeks.

Just after something that has the feel of vintage cars with a bit of parts support that I can have fun with.

Are they good value for what you get or overpriced nostalgia?

In the right hands they are still competitive at club level.
Parts are pretty easy to get (modelsport and others stock them)

Im in the process of building one and its a real pleasure to build. i doubt mine will ever compete as its pimped with many extra alloy parts so weighs more than the moon lol

The worlds car is excellent, especially on low traction tracks. A bit understeery by today's standards, but awesome fun to drive. I'll more than likely use mine as my winter club car with a 13.5 in, and for York 540 champs.
I've got the gold tub ReRe also, which i've used at the oople series rc10 class and York indoor 540 champs. really enjoyable to race. Just get one. I'd go for the worlds car if you want something competitive. I'm even contemplating running mine at the Invernational on the dirt instead of my B4.1.
