hi guys.
I am doing the SC at oople this year.
wondering what the set of wheels part numbers are for the DESC210.
need a set of wheels and the proline tyres for the event.
I have never run the SC as yet, so any base set up for the RHR dirt track will helps.
shock oils, ride heights etc.
also, anyone raced the 210 on dirt, advise front tyres.
Its got to be proline hole shots on the arse end, but any proline fronts as 2wd
should I stick to the M3 holeshots all round?
also, as dirt is slippy and I prefer 4wd, I run a rapid motor on 4wd, should I be toning it down on dirt for the 2wd SC???
I was thinking an 8.5 or 7,5? I run a 5.5 in my xray xb4 4wd.
Rather not have to much turbo etc on the dirt as in 2wd may make it a bit of a handle.
Any thoughts please???
cheers ooplers.............

Never ran at rhr dirt with the truck, when I have ran the truck on dirt (storm valley,Coventr y I've used s/soft blockades on the rear and kit tyres or Louise turbos s/soft on the front(I ran a rear motor kyosho so not much help to you!) .tyre choice will be weather dependant too so one set won't work in all conditions.
I would of thought asking the guys in the rhr section would be the wisest idea as what works on a buggy could work well on a truck
Have a look on the durango site for setups there's plenty of dirt info available and a Google search for desc 210/410 wheels will have you the part no you require mate
Dependant on grip you may want to run mm3/4 or rm3/4 but again with no experience I can't recommend one or the other
Sorry I can't be much help but that's down to the pleasure of racing on astro the majority of the time
and a Google search for desc 210/410 wheels will have you the part no you require mate
The man speak the truth, just a few seconds of Google

Can't help on a specific setup for the desc210 I'm afraid, but for a 2wd SC my preference would be to set it up as rear motor, use M4 Holeshots at the rear and possibly M3 at the front. (I prefer a slightly understeery car and remember 2wd buggy fronts are a lot narrow than rears whilst sc is the same).
Motor wise I would of thought a 8.5t would be plenty ( driving skill dependent off course).
The track is slippy for most of the lap, and hotter motors will result in more wheelspin/ lack of control IMO...
