Help,

I love the look of the yokomo Bmax 4, or do I wait for the B44.3 ?

Your views please:eh?:

If you hang on no doubt there'll be an updated B-Max4III that will come with the updated chassis. I have the current one and it's awesome. So easy to drive and maintain.

I wouldn't go in head first and get the B44.3 until they've proven themselves in the big competitions.

Bmax 4 III
Easily the better of the 2. Metric hardware, easier to work on and stronger.

Updated B-Max4 III is on its way. The new kit will include the light weight conversion, so you will have the most adjustable car car on the market straight out of the box. Even better news is that it won't cost anymore than the current model, we will be updating our current stock in the next few days to include the conversion kit!

Thanks

Bmax 4III for sure. The car is awesome. by example, four screws and a diff is in your hand. so much easier and nicer to work on than b44.x

I had the same peril but have the foresight off already owning the b44 with a very close spec to the 44.3, as well as having an evening driving Neals (above) bmax.

Getting a bmax was a no brainer for me. I was slightly quicker with Neals car and set up than i am with my own. Was much easier too (was babying it a bit so as not to break it and still faster)

I can't comment on speed as all cars are slow in my hands, but I've just switched from b44.1 to bmax4iii and it is certainly easier to work on, plus I don't need to worry about imperial tools any more!!

The problem with the majority of Associated cars is they develop slop quickly and the slop out of the box isn't great. For track side spares Associated is good but the amount of B-Max4III's about you'll never be stuck. The number of people switching to Yokomo and are saying they are faster should tell you something. :woot:
