New to trucks, what carpet tyres for DEST?

Looking forward to getting my truck! I'll use the kit tyres for occasional bashing but I want to run it at my indoor club too.

Never ran my truck indoor but I run 1/10 buggy indoor and use Schumacher mini pins (yellow) or pro-line pin points (med) if either of those are available for st truck rims they'll work well mate

You can't get mini pins for ST size tyres, your only option is yellow mini spikes which work well, you can use these all round or use cut yellow staggers on the front

I used pins/staggers on my Durango ST and was really good on carpet

No they are proper ST size, you'll need inserts too

Do you only run inserts in the rear? And soft?

Inserts all round and the softs are the only ones I could find at the time, you maybe able to find some aka or Proline moulded truck inserts? If you can it would be a good option as they are a little soft the Schumacher ones

Also I'm guess ring like the DEX, mid motor is this best option for carpet with the truck?

Yes correct, MM is best for high grip
