Hi ,

I have two original AMB PT s with breaks in the leads, I know these can be repaired , - however , if I want a new PT , which to go for ?

MRT PTX or AMB Harry ?

Is there a drawback to the current MRT ? Does it work with any AMB system RC3 and RC4 ? at around half the price of an AMB Harry for a heatshrunk MRT , is there a practical advantage to go for the Harry :bored:?

thanks

New MRT's work perfectly with RC3 & RC4. I run one myself, the risk you take is if they release a new version, RC5 for instance, it may mean the MRT stops working on the new system, or it may work perfectly... who knows, or even if they will release a new update any time soon, could be years & years away!

The latest MRT is very similar to the Amb Harry....both work on all systems..
The MRT is cheaper, but , personally, I wouldn't get the heat shrunk one...their cased one is still cheaper than a Harry....! I would go for that..or a second hand Harry...

If you trade ur amb in they can clone one and send you two back for £49 or send two in and get 4 for £100 all one number and they will use the other as one of their numbers. The one you choose will remain your number
Defiantly get the cased version

I have fun MRT for years and had one of the first rc4 bugs, I now have seven all my number

At the start of the year I traded my MRT's in for the RC4 compatible ones.

They have worked faultlessly everywhere I have raced
