seems to a few people selling Losi's that they claim to be the bees knees, so thought i'd post some close up pics of a real racing Losi XX
It may look a bit scruffy, but its a racer :p

Nice, don't see to many of the trinity stuff out these days. Im glad those 5 spoke wheels died off, was never a fan of the way they looked.

I raced my XX again for a summer season back in 2012 with brushless motor etc - what a fantastic car! I got to race it again at this year at the Iconic vintage meeting, this time with a period correct brushed motor but it was still a joy to drive.
Personally I like the 5 spoke wheels - far more interesting than the boring generic dished wheels we use these days... looks like this XX has the 'holy-grail' of XX upgrades... the Trinity front bulkhead! Just make sure you don't break your chassis instead:eh?:

Broke 2 chassis in one night dad wasn't happy and that was the last time i raced :( I like the spokes dishes are boring, but have about 50 sets of wheels so can always change them :)

Could you do me a favor on that car? Could you measure the front inner to inner hinge pin distance (center to center) on the bulkhead as well as the inner to outer hinge pin distance on an arm and let me know what they are? I have a project idea but need to know those numbers to see if it would work. I used to have a XX but never measured it.

The hinge pins are the actual metal rods that hold the arms onto the bulkhead or the steering parts onto the arms. They've got the e-clips on them.
I actually won't need those numbers after all. I just found two sets of XX arms brand new on ebay for $5 per pair buy it now. I definitely bought them!
