Hi,
If you are still using the original x-ring black seals this is prob where the leakage is coming from.
You will find that the oil will come out of where the outdrives go into the diff housing.
It's pritty simple to fix and stop and all need to do is change the x-ring seals over to an oring.
Generally a 1/8 shock seal oring works great.
A TD330612 oring is what I am using in mine so maybe give them a go.
Thanks

If you overfill, it leaks out too. Does the diff end up being empty or do you just have lots of oil in the gearbox?

I've had the same issue on mine since I got it (it was brand new RTR) after about 2 meetings the diff would be almost empty. I rebuilt in many times as per the guide & tried using some silicon grease as suggested to Support @ TD but didnt help much.
I got some new brand new replacement X-Rings, which did help quite a bit but still leaks a little, although no-where near as much. I could feel the difference in the tightness straight away so it's clear that where the issue was.
I would suggest giving the O-Ring a try, thats what I'll be doing.

The o-ring mod, with some green slime, makes the diff refilling a once every 6-8 weeks job. If not longer.
I did an oil swap a month or so ago, and the diff was still almost full. I last changed it when we moved outdoors, in march..........
