Saw a brand spanker rs200 a few years back on the M1 services, it was on a trailer and just won a concours compo. It was mint, and it was a real one.

Awesome!
I saw that clarkson vid where he drives the RS200 and ive never seen anything so mental - needless to say he wiped out and ended up in the grass.

I love the RS200

People may laugh but i also love the Metro 6R4 those are still rapid!!!

The lancia delta integrale is also a very sexy car and i am so tempted to "invest" (thats what i tell the Mrs) in a group B rally car:D

simply stunning....after the esc cos this is my fav car by far. some how all the rice burners just fade away when up against classic fords like these...

on the rs owners club site there is a download of the 80's touring cars at birmingham....500+ bhp rs500's duking it out, gravett, bristow and co it is mega.

quite like the mk2 xr2 with the late model rs2000 polished 5 spokes on too in the background (ive had three of those model xr2's)

Andy, didn't you get the xr8 in the states? I believe that was an xr4i uk spec car, but with a 5.0 V8 mustang motor up front...

Jimmy, how can you not like saff's?

Jimmy, how can you not like saff's?

I prefered the Whale tail as well, but it was getting more and more difficult to find a clean one when I got mine, so ended up with a sapphire, this was prior to selling it to buy a Scenic to carry the kids about :(, sterilisation isn't such a bad thing really, when you think about it :o!!!

Ste Adams has a 4wd Saph cossie, absolutely immaculate and he says it's running about 340bhp, which after he took me out in it, I wouldn't doubt that.

Not overly keen on Fords, but a fast car is a cool car!

You guys should come and watch Rallycross. Still the odd GrpB 6R4 or RS200 flying around in the British Champs......

And some of the modern machinery is stunning to watch as well - but it's not the same as watching an 800BHP Peugeot 205T16E2 doing 0-60 in 2.3 seconds.......

And I'm the lucky sod who gets to grid them up at Lydden Hill!! The noise is awesome when you've got a grid full ready to launch on full throttle - not to mention the fumes from some of the funny fuel they run :o
