Hi all.

Please use this thread to book in for racing on Friday.

Unfortunately we need to put a cap of 30 drivers in place to make sure we have enough time for 4 rounds and a final.

We should be able to have the heats sorted and we will want to start racing at bang on 7. So track building is the priority.

We need more volunteers to collectively help build / dismantle the track, this also applies at the end of the evening putting away the track. So please help, we get more racing in and get to go home at a reasonable time. Don't leave it to the same individuals to do the honours.

Please refrain from practicing until the track has been built.

The deadline for booking in is 9pm Thursday evening, heat listings will be compiled after this time. If you say you are coming then change your mind for what ever reason, you must let me know as this affects everyone else & the heats will not be evenly balanced,

Doors normally open at 6.30pm.

Someone will be there for 6:15 ish, so anyone wanting to HELP with the track can get there for then.

1/10th Buggies, indoors, carpet, slippy floor and jumps. Family friendly and good fun club level racing.

Address:
Cullingworth Village Hall
Station Road
Cullingworth
Bradford
BD13 5HN.

I've got a brand new one in the packet if you want it? Never tried it.

Ill think about buying it off you, ive no idea what role bars would do to handling at cullingworth. Reduces role I guess but not sure if that is a problem im having. I seriously think its just practice time tbh. Not going to be able to get hands on b5 straight front arms for friday (unless mb get stock in or I go somewhere else) but did get the brass bushings you mentioned and yellow front springs (thats right colour you said isnt it?) they should be ready by friday.

Hate being so newish that I don't know what certain changes effect the handling of the cars. I suppose ill learn eventually.

Thx for help again

I cant believe the blatant use of shortcuts, understand why the leader resorted to cheating at end after the white car cut the straight out just to ram him. SPOILD HIS RACE. That was some of the best driving ive seen him do up until the cheating put uneaded pressure on him. EDIT forgot to say great night nori, thx again for advice Jim car is almost perfect (or is perfect just not driven right lol) thinking of getting a transponder off you nori next time, then maybe a stick controler rather than this cheapish wheel, it likes to forget when I alter its settings most of the time.

compliments on the track desgin, more work to get round, slower, but less time spent just holding the gas on. Realy tested my new setup with all those tight turns. Was it just me or did the floor lose a but of grip by the end of the night?

You helped one of them shortcut Brian, by marshalling and placing the cars together again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yasTP2Fn0EA#t=228

:p

Hopefully both kids involved we told the errors of their ways? They were both driving well until the cheating and short cutting started and it spiralled out of control. Plus there were too many responsible adults cheering them on.

Precisely - my marshalling decision was to attempt to slightly re-address the balance. Young lad makes fewer mistakes, leads his race, and through no fault of his, gets his lead massively reduced.

I can think of a number of adults that would get a bit miffed in similar situation.
