looking for a general toolkit (imperial) to build my kit with and general maintenance once I get running. Are the ones that are like £25 in a zip pouch suitable please and would I need anything extra not usually provided in a set.

cheers

Have a look at the Dynamite one...http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dynamite-Imperial-Startup-Tool-Kit-Set-Nut-Hex-Drivers-DYN2835-/261548831105?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&hash=item3ce5867181
Cheaper and good quality....
The one you quoted is both Imperial and Metric..

I originally planned to go for the durango 210 but then spoke to someone about sct and also got talking about buggy's too and that was that I guess lol

Not got anything yet but I am getting the losi 22 sct and the losi 22.2 buggy, pretty good cars those two I believe :)

Yeah good cars, you can't go wrong really anyway all the top manufacturers make good cars.

Toolkit will be fine. I have a similar one. Only thing I've found I needed was a turnbuckle wrench and some needle nose pliers

In your original post you say about imperial tools but the tlr 22.2 is metric and I would guess the tlr sct is metric also.

personally I like the hudy tools, perhaps a little more expensive but they do seem to last well.

as said a turnbuckle wrench and wheel nut and slipper nut driver are a worth while investment along with some needle nose pliers.

I also like my trinity shock stand and diff tool.

I have been told that both the losi cars require imperial tools - I guess I'd better hang fire before getting any tools until confirmation either way

Losi use to be imperial but went metric with the 22 range.
