I would like to put a naca duct/air intake onto my rc body to cool down my motor/esc without fan.
has anyone done this? and does it work?
I found this one but maybe not right for small buggy body.

Save yourself the bother cut a slit where you need it then to smaller slits back from each corner like this ] fold back the bit you need and there you have it a scoop, free

Have a look at http://www.oocrcracing.com/ they sell various scoops and ducts, and they even test them in their own wind tunnel to show they outperform normal holes.

I doubt they'll scale too well on an offroad application.
Don't tend to get a stable enough airflow, especially noticeable at smaller scales.
The onroad application tends to be a bit more stable.

Just bear in mind that BRCA buggy rules exclude the use of any intakes that aren't already marked on the bodyshell, and even then there is a maximum size for them.
Probably not a problem at most clubs but something to consider if you plan on racing at a higher level.
