Novak 5.5 L

Hi Guys,

I have had new Novak 5.5L motor, went to run this last night and it went really slow for about 2secs then it just stoppped.
I turn the car off and popped off the bodyshell.

The motor was steaming hot, so i let it cool down unplugged the sensor wire re-plugged it in and turned it on.
All i did was make little buzzing noise and motor got hot again.
So just left it, does anyone had any idea what could be wrong or shall i be best to return it back??????
It's not even done one run yet, it's had prob 2mins from when it was turned on to when it stopped.

Is the drive train of the car completely free? So if you take the pinion off the motor, does the whole car coast freely? Then, assuming that car coasts freely, does the motor rotor turn freely if you turn it with your fingers?

It sounds like there is an obstruction somewhere :eh?:

Everything moves freely.

Just the motor doesnt work it gets hot so i just send it back.

Check that one of the motor screws isn't stopping the rotor from turning freely.... ?
