So, it's no big mystery that there aren't many tracks in Central London, and that's unlikely to change, with the cost of real estate there and all...
What I'm finding annoying is that these costs also make it expensive to have a car (especially as it's often otherwise not needed for many central Londoners), so even just getting to events not that far (such as Rug Racers, say) is a bit difficult (almost an hour and a half of train and local bus) or expensive (looking at a minimum of £40 for Zipcar, if not more, depending on the duration).
What I'm thinking is that it might be a good idea to form a "club" (maybe association would be a better word) of Central London racers, to ride share, hire cars, or maybe even minibuses, if there is enough interest?
What do you think? Maybe this already exists, and I wasn't able to find it?
