View Full Version : Spektrum SM1000 TX Module Replacement Antenna, any ideas where from?

trying to get a replacement as above, but damned if i can find one on google.

Also, do you have to unscrew the case to replace it as there is no obvious way of getting the old one off?

And yes, you'll need to unscrew / open the case so that you can unplug the antenna from the circuit board.

To satisfy your curiosity, I'd open up your module, you should find the the antenna is connected with a small gold plated connector. (Often quite tight to snap on, but try gently swivelling it from side to side to confirm it is the type of connector typically used.)

If it is, you can simply unclip the connector, and then the antenna will unclip out of the module case. And for £5.75, I'd get the one suggested. I'm sure it is compatible..

I've used one just like that one of my old SM1000's.
Straight swap with no problems.
