Hi Steve, I never ran the car with lipo, but knowing the car I would say the weight distribution is pritty even. Give the car a run back to back with & without weight to see how it feels for you. When you try it with the weights, I would put about 100g running down the centre of the chassis. :)

I run mine with 90 grams inbetween the cells under the shaft and 5 grams behind each cell and that seems to work pretty well for me :D

are you adding weights to meet the min weight requirement or as a tuning tool?

i've got the same chassis and lipo.
with Sphere Comp, Novak 13.5SS, Standard Spektrum RX, Sanwa VB servo, AMB PT.

mine weighs around 1670g so no additional weights are required.

i was worried that when i put lipo in i would loose traction on the back end due to the weight difference between the batterys:confused:

the 4800 is a lot heavier than the 3200. it will definitely stabilise the zx5 rear.

i'm going to switch to 3200 though. i can't fit the 4800 in the rb5 'cos it's too tall. the 3200 should be able to fit. (i would like to use the batt in both cars.)

I use the core rc 5000 mah in my rb5 and zx 5 and it fits in both perfectly.i just had to make a thinner battery strap for the zx 5

rc penguin which Lazer do you have, the normal, the SP or the FS ?

If it is the FS, which saddle pack do you use ? It seems that the room available is really narrow and Track power 4800 can't be installed...
