Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone has or might know were I can get hold of a cougar 2000/95 team body shell part number U5045V?

I am trying to revive this little old car but I think without a shell it may be a lost cause.

Your help with this would be very much appreciated :)

Try team blue grove on eBay if they don't list one it's worth an ask

Thanks for the reply peakey. I have had a look at the site you mentioned and they do have a undertray and body shell but unfortunately it is for the standard cougar 2000 and not the 95/team spec which has the longer chassis :(
I have heard you can fit the Schumacher fireblade shell but don't know how true this is. I will prob find these just as hard to find.

you can run the normal cougar 2000 shell on the 95 team chassis as i am doing that at the moment. its not brilliant but it works. biggest issue is the undertray for the 95 goes up at each side and the 2000 doesnt it squashes the speed controller a bit but hasnt caused a problem for me so far

Thanks for the info Chris. I have got some standard cougar shells somewhere but I could not show them on here as my spray painting skills back then was not very good
I took Peakey's advice and got in touch with teambluegrove and they have told me as soon as they get a body to take a mould from then they will produce a few.

I have managed to patch up my old 2000/95 team shell for now so with the help of Daz for sourcing me an undertray I will be able to get this old car rolling again

Will still keep an eye out for a new shell though and if all else fails will try the standard body.

Why not send tbg your shell to copy ? I think you get a free shell if you supply one to mold from.

I have mentioned that too them, just waiting on a reply. The shell I have has taken a battering over the years so don't know how much use it would be.
