We are based just off jct 4 of the m40.

Currently our club runs micro buggys on our purpose built indoor track (with perm pitting).

I'm just wondering if there would be a interest in us opening it up to 10th scale as well. (Due to requests from members ) The tracks would be quite small for 10th but it is another place to run your car indoor in the winter. Currently depending on layout our micros do laps in around 12 seconds so I imagine 10th would be around the same.

If you would be interested please post in this thread asap as there is a committee meeting this Wednesday and if there is enough interest I can put it towards them there and see the response.

Nice track :) All the local tracks I race at run buggy heats alongside micro, lap-times are very similar, with micro being just a bit quicker sometimes.

This is mean't as constructive criticism !

I've been to Wycombe serveral times with the Micro's, sometimes enjoyed it sometimes not, just found even the Micro's are way too fast for the size of the track.

For me 10th would only work if there was a motor limit, I for one run a 6.5 in my 4wd and inside that would just be insane, undriveable, call it what you want.

I like the club and the crew at Wycombe, the club could just do with a bit more room to let the 10th's move around.

I agree with Derek, I love the club and venue to bits and enjoy every minute I am there racing the micro.. but as stated, it is on the tight side for the smaller 1/14th cars and on the one occasion we tried my 4wd 1/10th round there it did feel "tiny" and that was with only one car running, a heat of 5 or 6 would (in my opinion) be chaos around there.

Now if you could only convince the committee to squash the pits up a little and move the rostrum back..... then that's another story, but a HUGE amount of effort to go to and probably a bridge too far in realistic terms.
