hiya all

the predator x10 / xrs . what are the good points and bad points about this car ?.

im thinking of changing across to one from my Losi xxx4, is it a good idea ? or bad idea . . .

Ive never used one myself but from what I've heard the car is very very quick (some saying the quickest car they have driven). But the problem seems to be around reliability.

If you can keep it in one piece then it would be a good car to have, but keeping it in one piece is the difficulty.

The original X10 that I got at first has been updated and they include things which boost the reliability further. The drivetrain is now surely one of the best ?
The spur gear isn't the strongest out there but the gears are especially beefy.

Its a serious racer and if you are willing to put the time in, its worth it.

Not true of the X10. My car is ubber reliable and strong.

It should be an absolute "go"

It's very strong, very fast (in the right hands - not necessarily mine) and there is no longer a question around reliability, as the steering is now (and has been for a long time) sorted out, the gearbox tops are stronger, the transmission is guaranteed (how many mfrs do that?), spares are readily available, and once you have found a setup that suits you (as with all cars) you will be certainly be quick with an X10 or XRS.

The difference between the X10 and XRS are not that noticeable, the only real "must have" option on the XRS is maybe the front alloy rockers, but thats all.
