hi what pinion do u reckon I have a 8.5t trackstar motor a 98t spur gear and running it on carpet I have a 20t pinion and a 21t pinion an idea's thanks

THIS is for the KF
We run 76/27 out/in doors with a 7.5 but it depends how tight the track is.

Is this a K1? If so start with a 22 or 23t pinion. I suspect the 21t pinion will be too small. As a guide if the speedo is getting hot but motor is cool the gearings too low, if the motors hot and speedo cool the gearings too high.
