which hotel is everyone planning on using for this weekend?

i've just booked Premier Inn in Gillingham, about 3 miles from the track

http://www.premierinn.com/pti/hotelInformation.do?hotelId=24051

they usually have a half decent pub attached where you can get something to eat & aren't quite as basic as a travelodge!

sound like a plan? :)

thats the reasoning behind choosing a Premier Inn, you have a pub right next door

Well, I can tell you now... the Premier Inn is nice, and does have a pub alongside (the Honourable Pilot), and the M2 Travellodge is a bit further out, but no more than 15mins from the track. I'm in the M2 this weekend for carpet wars... it's ain't pretty (especially having to share with two northern monkeys, hi bri, rob! :p), but it's cheap! :D

There's also an Odoen, Pizza Hut, Nando's and a couple of pubs about 3mins round the corner from the track too... so plenty of places to spend the evenings, and that even before you've headed into the main towns area :)

Its a shame that the on-site hotel (Encore) is full because there is so much to do for friends and family who dont want to be at the track for two days!

Yes there are three or four restaurants at the shopping centre which is a five-minute walk through the Historic Dockyard along with the cinema...
