View Full Version : DC Racing to close :-(

Had an email this morning about DC Racing to close...

Very sad to hear this, but I can understand why, as I have chosen to cut back on my racing of late, going back to club racing with Micro (which is very cheap btw!). This has meant that I now need to shop away from Dom to get parts etc... which has probably led to his demise (not saying it was only me buying parts from him, just that others have probably given up on off-road entirely, or looked to cheaper/different racing sadly...).

Again, sorry to hear you have closed Dom. Always gave good advice, even if it meant that you were worse off in the long run (proof of top advice imo.)

Hope to see some Dom trackside at some point.

M.

Sadly it is true, thanks for the kind words.

You haven't got rid of me completely though, Callum will still be racing and I may even pick up the sticks again myself now I don't have any distractions.

I have a bit of stuff to clear out, so message/e-mail me and I'll see what I can do.

Very sad to hear Dom.

I myself used to get much advice from you and you were always very good and prompt with your deliveries. I bet i bought everything from you bar the car lol.

Unfortunately the sport has not only affected racers with no money to race (Like myself, i have literally have raced 10 times this year if that) its also affecting suppliers.

Thanks for your service over the years.

Colin Milner.

I'm after some more JCKF/R 5 spoke Lazer wheels in white, will I still be able to get a set if I put an order in?

Sorry to hear about the closure.

This is a sad day but unfotunately was inevitable, I only hope that there is not a flood of similar closures over the next few months. If people keep insisting on buying stuff outside the UK soon all the more specialised & smaller shops will be struggling.

I have known Dom for a VERY long time and can honestly say that in my opinion he has always been the most helpful and friendly (obviously not to me but hey .... ;) ) guy out there in RC land.

I will take this oppertunity to thank him for all the help, both on and off track, that he has given me over the many years.
I am very proud to have been associated with DC Racing and the products he has kindly sponsored me with over the years.

If there is a bright side to all this I hope it is the dusting off of the transmitter of Doom so we can get to see some of the frankly incredible driving techniques he is so famous for ........ :D

All the best to you and the family my friend.

No I was in with Brian after his little spin and we got separated from them, but we did see the copper and we were flashed by cameras several times, but never got a ticket:thumbsup:

Dom has joined the estate car club ....... never thought I'd see the day!

Have some "interesting" memories of journeys in the big blue office ..... would you believe that it is possible to fit in the glove box of a Transit???? You would if you'd been on a B-road charge with Doom!!!! :D
