There will be four events in each class for 2015; a driver’s best three round scores in each class will count towards the championship position.
Entry fees will be £10 for each class if prebooked. £15 on the day for each class (your BRCA licence will need to be shown to race). Open class £5.00
DMS booking in system will be used for this year’s championship, details are below.

Tyres used will be Ballistic Buggy Mini Spike or Schumacher Mini Spike. These must be on the rear axle of 4wd and the driven axle of 2wd.

Scrutineering will be carried out before your heat starts. Scrutineering includes weights, measuring and homologation lists for motors and cells.
Cells and motors will need to be on the approved BRCA list.
Cells will need to be charged in a lipo safe charging bag.

Referees will be selected by the club holding the meeting.
Trophies – top 3 in ‘A’ final and overall TQ, then winner of all other heats
Two amendments to the ruling for Mid South Regionals this year are as follows:-
1. To combat the situation of drivers using 2wd & 4WD cars in the open heats to gain practise time on the circuit. Open class can only be used for visiting and club drivers who are not accruing points in Mid South region on that day.
2. Rule 23.4 is a BRCA national ruling amendment, but needs to be adhered to if tracks are in a controlled environment such as Silverstone and the weather at Torch or Herts suits a 2wd buggy in a 4wd class. At National events, 2WD cars (one driven axle) are not allowed in the 4WD Class events (this does not preclude any drive-train breakages during a heat/final).

Meeting Format
All meetings
Booking in opens at 7am, practice heats will start at 8am in heat order. Practice will be 3 minutes depending on the number of heats.
Drivers Briefing will take place before heat 1 presumes, the day will be fully on automatic using the BBK software. If you are late for your marshalling point full BRCA rules will apply, all marshals must wait in their positions to be relieved by the next driver at that post.
Booking In (The IMPORTANT BIT)
On line booking in is live now.

Booking In remains the same as last year and as follows from 2014 post:

Booking in is via the usual DMS Online Booking-In service once more at www.dmsresults.co.uk (http://www.dmsresults.co.uk/)
Racers are all reminded that it is their responsibility to keep hold of their confirmation entry email until AFTER each event expires. Each confirmation email includes a link for each competitor to be able to click should the need arise to withdraw from an event prior to it taking place.

Without the email you have no way of withdrawing and it will be your responsibility to contact the hosting club in order to notify them in good time prior to the event. Please note in good time means no later than the Wednesday night before the race weekend. Anyone failing to do so or simply not showing on the day for the event will lose the right to pre-book in online in advance. First time offender’s names will be coloured blue online and will have to confirm their next entry with the club concerned before they are taken off any reserve list. Repeat offenders will be coloured red online and will have to pay for their missed event or events to the next club they wish to enter a meeting at before they are taken off any reserve list. Anyone coloured red or blue at the close of booking in for any event will be classed as not entered and will be asked to pay the "on the day" rates on the morning of the meeting should they be successful in gaining an entry. PLEASE..... you have all been warned, book in early to avoid disappointment and if you have to withdraw make it your primary concern to unbook and ensure the club concerned (no-one else) are aware in good time that you will not be attending, it is for the good of all racers and to ensure as many people as possible can race at each event. Be warned also the "no-show" lists have been carried over from last season too..........
