Transmitter is a Futaba 3PM 2.4Ghz - SS
Receiver is FrSky TFR4.

Binds fine. Solid green light. Throttle works fine. Turn the steering a few times and boom, loss of signal. Red light on FrSky flashes. Does it every time.

I have tried the receiver in another car with a different ESC and servo and the same thing happens.

I have two receivers and both do the same thing.

Both cars work fine with other radio equipment.

Totally bamboozled!

Help,

Jimmy

Try a glitch buster/capacitor on the receiver. Solved the problem for me with my TFR4s... it happened to me all the time using savöx servos, which are known to draw a lot of amps.

I bought high quality 6.3V / 3800 mF capacitors, put them on a servo wire and they seem to work fine stabilizing receiver voltage.

I had the same phenomenon with my Futaba 603FF receiver, by the way, so i don't think this is a TFR4 specific issue.

Cheers

Glitch buster ordered.

I tested the idea first by hooking up a 6v battery pack and connecting that to the receiver. Worked perfectly, proving that it's a voltage issue.

I'll let you know if it works.
