WRCA Rnd 1: Caldicot 26th April

So WRCA updates. we are up to 6 heats and growing for round 1 in under two weeks. And thats without a few names who i am still waiting for entries. keep them coming!!

The current plan is that we will be using a grass track outside of the usual Caldicot venue, so Shumacher yellow spikes will be the recommended tyre.

Pitting will be indoor with power available, a limited number of tables and power extensions are available, but bring your own if you can. Paul Knight​of Trackside spares will be on hand with selection of spares and tyres. YOu can contact them directly for pre-orders to avoid disappointment on the day

If the weather looks bad, we will run on the indoor track as an alternative.

Morning all!
Just looking at the weather for the weekend and after the last month of dry weather it looks like the first round of the WRCA is going to be on a wet weekend.. oh c**k.

Anyway, not to worry as we have the backup plan to run indoors as we did last year when, if my memory serves me correct we had exactly the same dilemma.

At the moment Sunday looks dry but If its wet on the Saturday and we can't cut the grass then we will have to race indoors.

We are constantly monitoring the weather and will make a decision by earliest midday Friday and latest 4pm Friday but I would like to confirm we are 100% running the event.
