I'm building this car from several months, maybe that anyone has already seen it on TC.

I've bought it after Christmas on an italian site and probably it came from France... number of previous owners: unknown.

After collecting some parts (original spares, £D printed parts & more) I was ready to start the build:

3D printed bulkhead from ORB Racing, stainless steel screws from RC Schrauben.

Steering mounted on his supports and after on supports made by rocker nuts and aluminum spacers to solve problems concerning fixing and smoothness.

Front strut brace needed when longer damper pivots are used (Mad Cap arms instead of originals)

The car on its own (old) wheels for the first times after months. New unis installed thanks to Blitzer hub carriers. 2/3 of the electronic in place.

Lexan items added: TTC cover and undertray from Canada and original body. Unfortunately I've finished the can of white and the local hobby shop doesn't sell lexan colors (:yawn:) so I have to order it on line (:bored:). Low profile servo is on the way.

Very cool stuff Jeek! :thumbsup: It's nice to see Tamiya icons like the Astute are still being enjoyed!

Nice. Do you still have a clear body as well, though? It looks great with it too, when on display.
