Hi Everyone
Just thought I would put this info up on here about the Eversley Winter Carpet Challenge.
Taking place on 25th January 2009, this is a one-off event on one of the largest indoor carpet tracks in the UK, measuring 32x16m. There are numerous on-road classes so there should be something to cater to everyone! The event is being run by the Southend Radio Car Club with race control and additional support coming from Lakeside RCCC.
The location is the Eversley Leisure Centre in Basildon, Essex, easily accessible from the A13 (which links to the M25 at J30)
Rubber Touring Classes
-Stock (13.5/27t)
-Pro Stock (10.5/19t)
-Modified (5 cell/open motor OR LiPo/6.5)
Foam Touring Classes
-Pro Stock (10.5/19t)
-1:12th Modified
-World GT (10.5/19t, 4 cell)
The BRCA are supporting World GT at this event, and we are expecting top drivers with a number of National A-finalists in many classes wanting to attend.
