so after reading a thread on here about Facebook some people said its a free platform to introduce new young racers but this was followed up by the teenagers are leaving Facebook in droves because their parents are on it, i can believe that, As having two teenage daughters (one a racer) they do not use FB that much anymore but more snapchat and Instagram (more snap chat i think) so if we want to get new young racers why are not some clubs etc. also using snapchat and Instagram? page shots from oople could also be sent out plus race results, ive only been back into the sport for 6 months and i would never of found oople if it wasn't for someone on FB sending me a link, these links could also be sent out via snapchat and instagram to connect with young people, just my thoughts, and was wondering other peoples thoughts and if any clubs already did it?

Facebook is not dying as yet - in fact it's attainment of new members is beating most things both in headcount and % gain. It is even cited by other applications as the one they are trying to emulate

Twitter is suffering a little and this is why the CEO resigned recently as he doesn't know what is needed to elevate the platform however it is still very good

The issue with SnapChat is longevity of messages - between 1 and 10s before deletion both at device and server level upon opening so to pass anything other that a quicker 1/3 lap video or a pic of a car is not going to really generate memberships as yet

Instagram is popular for those odd moments
