Who's up for a bit of rubbing this weekend in the sc national at Boughton don't forget practise is open tomorrow around 1 camping available and full days racing on Sunday...

I am very new to SCT and been away from racing and bashing for 25 years ,i have taken the plunge and got a SCT , ihavnt raced for 25 years and want to come to the event at A1 in September ? would a novice get to race ? i don't want to drive down for nowt ? i got most of the gear but no idea ?

Glad you've come back to the hobby dude and most certainly you'd get a race whether your a superstar driver or a complete novice we cater for all abilitys mate..

I know, never ran the same combo of tyres more than once all day, wet/dry/wet/dry Sunny :thumbsup:Good fun though, had some proper close and fast battles on track.

What tyres do you guys usually Pack for a race day , I just got my SCT and am running stock tyres (Traxxas slash 4x4) they are not very grippy on grass or hardback/gravelly)when i upgrade wheels and tyres what should i look to get ? Hoping to get to A1 for September .Thanks i am hoping for patience as i will be asking lots of questions on here .

I'm sure one of the 4wd guys will be able to better advise you but I would think some Schumacher yellow compound mini pins & Schumacher yellow compound mini spikes if it's dry although the weather changes at the Boughton round saw pretty much every tyre known to man make an appearance in the search for grip.

All you need is a set of yellow mini pins and mini spikes and the silver spirals :thumbsup:
