Hi all, i live in Oxfordshire and i'm thinking of starting 1/10th off road RC racing. Oxfordshire doesn't seem to have any clubs for 1/10th off road:thumbdown:. so were would the nearest one to me be??

I'm also thinking of buying a Durango Dex210, it looks like a good starter kit and good value.

Also do clubs run a beginners class?

Many thanks..

Off the top of my head the nearest would be Silverstone or three counties near mk. Or Stotfold or herts.
Have you looked on the brca site for clubs?
If you're a beginner you'll be in the first heat with people of similar abilities.
Do you mean the rtr car or race car? Might be best to get something off here in the for sale section, Schumacher kf or something which has good support.

I have a DEX210 v1 for sale, and could do a package with almost everything you'd need to get going (servo, ESC, Lipo stick pack, motor, loads of spares). You would need to add a transmitter and lipo balance charger though. Feel free to PM me.

I would strongly advise you to go along and visit the club you plan on racing at regularly though. If there's another more popular chassis there, it might be a good idea to go down that route, as there will be other racers you could ask for advice and the odd obscure spare part!

Thank you all for your reply's.

I'm off to Dorset for a couple of week's and going to try and get to the Mendip Raceway Club meeting on the 2nd of august as i'm hoping it will give me more of an insite to how the meetings run, etc.
