http://www.oople.com/rc/photos/misc/oopletshirtcomp.jpg

http://www.oople.com/rc/photos/misc/oopletshirtcomp2.jpg

This design is an extremely limited run and probably will never be "sold", so heres your chance to own !

I can supply the shirt in most sizes from M to XXL, but will do my best to accomodate. Free postage to anywhere in the world with some oOple stickers of course.

What do you have to do ?

Take a cool photo of YOUR car -
This is a STILL photo competition - since just about any camera can take a great still photo.
The photo will be judged on nice lighting, setup, environment, cool angles, thought --- etc. Don't just bung up a photo of your car in your kitchen with orange lights and dishes in the background ! :D

Any R/C car, any scale, any one - as long as it's yours.

Post entries in here - if you need, use the photo posting info in the sticky-post in the general race chat section. or if you need extra help ask me.

Closing date is Sunday 17th December 2006 - and will be judged Monday 18th.

Good Luck! ;)

Wow for the first time Vicky’s label isn’t showing! I noticed it was showing on your ‘orange bib’ shot, started to think it was a fashion thing ha ha

I think a shot of my BX on covering up some nice boobies would be a winner… anyone wanna lend me some nice boobies, purely for the photo shoot!

Ps im suffering from man-flu, its affecting my mind a little.

Not being awkward, but are photoshopped/edited pics allowed? Personally I don't think it would be in the spirit of the competition.

Will do my entry tonight... when I find my tripod!! (and when it stops raining) :D

BTW, Kyosho pic in the mirrors, uber cool!

Taken in the woods in Clayfield Copse, north of Reading, this afternoon after two packs of batteries.

I posed the car and just clicked away.

I don't know if you need to have the whole car in the photo, but here's my entry. Taken with a cheapo digi cam, got the lighting about right so it came out pretty good. more of an engine shot I suppose. The car is a Jammin CRT anyhow.

Sorry for not announcing sooner but I was a bit rushed off my feet sunday/monday getting the neo photos up.
Some great photos here but I have to say after careful consideration - it has to be Jonathans awesome crazy mirror shot!

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/jmberry/foroople1s2.jpg

Fantastic!
I shall be in contact with Jonathan soon to arrnage delivery of his lovely Tshirt :)

Thanks for those who entered and I will surely have a new lil competition up soon with a groovy prize! :D

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but it's just like Chris says: the car at the front that you can only see the very front on is the "original" car, sat on a mirror with 4 more mirror tiles around it to form a box. The clever bit is setting up the shot without getting the camera reflected in view.
Very simple, yet clever at the same time. Well done Jonathan - excellent photo

Heres an outtake, still makes for an interesting shot but as said keeping the camera out of the shot, while still getting an interesting angle takes a few goes
