A £250 engine in a Hyper7? ............

Can I suggest spending a little less on the engine (£140 gets you the Sirio CL3B - cracking engine!) and use the rest to change chassis ...... there will be loads of Losi 8ights about soon as we all change over to the updated 8ight 2.0

You would never truly get the best out of a £250 engine if it were put in a car like the Hyper (great buggy most rallycrossers owned one - now purely a 'bashers' car)

just my two penneth!!

yup but you think ur 7 is a fast on a track as the latest buggies, even tho hyper are now on version 9
the bottom end on mine is spot on and i have geared up a tooth, it still pulls strong

as has been said, save your money and buy a more uptodate buggy

even if you spent a grand on a hyper 7..it would still be an outdated 7 yr old design im afraid.

if your after performance buy a modern car, they are much lighter and outperform the hyper 7 by a long way in every aspect.

the hyper is a good clubmans car and is cheap to run tho.

I would highly recommend the RB S7II L2G, as its a cracking engine for the price (£169 from nitro-models), running an Associated 2035 pipe (total pipe and header price £37.17).

If you want links to the above just ask. :)

Money aside i would say go for the WS7III L2G over the s7II, as it has the added benefit of a Concept Coated Crank and use's turbo plugs.

hi,bobcat,i'm glad to see you defending your hyper7 when people are suggesting to change it,unless your racing at world events you don't need the latest and most expensive chassis and even then it's always more about how you move your thumbs than how expensive your ride is,i have seen tub tc4 touring cars pi++ all over the most expensive cars about at clubs,if you enjoy your hyper, ride it to death!
