I sooo want it, it was my 2nd car and I raced it happily for a couple of years.

Enough of this faffing about . Are they ever going to re-release the SRB series (Rough Rider, Sand Scorcher, Ranger F150)? I'm going back to bed unless there's at least a sniff of a Wild One re-re.

Haha. Before that happens, they're likely going to taunt us with a Tamtech Gear Sand Scorcher followed by a Takara Tomy toy, followed by a mini 4wd slot car, followed by a die-cast commemorative model followed by the T-shirt, the cap, the pit towel and some stickers followed by a re-release Monster Beetle RTR with Scorcher paint scheme, followed by some Sand Scorcher isotonic drinks.

I want a Supershot. I wish they would re-release it. It is the car I always wanted when i had my Falcon.

I would like to see a Monster beetle re-release. Many years ago, when I was a kid with a Kyosho Big Brute, my sisters boyfriend had a Monster beetle, with a trinity monster horsepower stock motor in it, quite fast as I remember it (wouldn't be now though).

But the day he drove the bug at full chat into the motor guard of the big brute was one of the funniest things I'll remember.

Rose tinted specs are great aren't they!

I remember the car i bought that kicked started off the whole buggy radio thing for me . It was the tamiya grasshopper i paid it up weekly to my mums catalogue.
I couldnt afford the sand scorcher or the ford based version that was in the catalogue , even back then in 1985 it was roughly 219 pounds which was way too much for me.

Hmm, amongst all this reminiscing I appear to be the only one that wants a Boomerang!!!:woot:

You do, although I can think of worse (sonic fighter anyone:thumbdown:) which, to me looked like an abortion of a car.

I was never a fan of the Boomerang tbh, or the Bigwig for that matter. I would however buy a Falcon.

Agree about the sonic fighter, but never liked the falcon.:p
Now if they rereleased the astute/super astute, that'd be nice!

Boomerang was my first car - would love to get a re-release. Take me back those 15 years............

Hope they do an Astute as well, that was my second car. Last year I went rummaging around my parents attic to find it, only to find out my dad had chucked it a few week prior to my rummaging

I've just seen the price in the uk, around £140 :woot::thumbdown:
Don't think I'll be getting one of those then

Well there is a standard one at the bottom of the Cwmbran boating lake, it goes quite well over water but if you do make sure you glue the tires on properly (I didnt and it sank)
