TrishBits sent us some of their new shock collars designed to replace the stock collars on Losi off road dampers.

The Losi collars have long been hated by racers - being hard to adjust and stiff especially with oily fingers.
TrishBits went for a slightly deeper design with a more agressive pattern for those oily fingers - making them much easier to adjust and with better support for the spring with a deeper shoulder. The Collars come as a set of 4 ready to be fitted with o-rings installed.

Check out the great new offerings from Trishbits.com (http://www.trishbits.com)

They still fit on an Asso car ?
The originals are a close call, these might interfere...

I thought that when i first saw them but they are fine, i don't think the max diameter is any bigger than a losi collar, and they are a lot easier to grip! :)

There is about 0.3mm size difference on the largest possible angle measured across the highest points - so ~0.15mm per side, very little really.

From the flats to the flats there is approx 1mm difference - so 0.5mm closer to the tower or whatever.:woot:

Hello,

Right so far I've been doing lots of customer jobs and front bulkheads with other projects in the pipeline. I am planing to get a batch of collars sorted as I would like a set on my car. There will be a different style out but I am sorting out plans with my enginneers.

If you would like a front brass bulkhead please Email me at trishbits@live.com or P.M me and I will try to get back to you. I don't always get a chance to go on here as my spare time is very stretched.

Cheers

Trish
