So I am having the same issue for a while now where the steering arm keeps hitting the upper case. I have shunned the servo as per the manual and everything but still no look. Any ideas? Here is a picture of it helps??

Make sure when you fit the alloy bulkhead that you leave out the washers required for the plastic bulkhead under the steering arms.

I had this problem with a savox low profile servo. The output is not in same place as full size

The steering unit of the SRX2 is just a pain in the ass. Some servos (for example Kopropo Low-Profile Models) are a little bit thicker (about 1mm) and also wider than normal servos and they don't fit. I was using a different Servo arm (from the TL 22, which is about 1mm shorter) for my SRX2 RM. I tried to do the same trick for my MM but the changed the upper plastic part (made it even thicker) so now even the TL 22 arm is to long. For me there was no other way than grinding some plastic away.
After 2 years I got pretty pissed of by problems like that with the SRX2.

Yeah it's a little annoying, but I'm sure there is a way around it. The rest of the car I can not fault at all. I have previously owned a 22 and was rather happy with that but the SRX2 for me tops it. Think I might have too try an other servo.

What servo are you using?
Is it the horn that's catching or the link?
Noticed you have a washer under the ball joint on the horn, I don't think that is needed (haven't got one on mine)
Also as Kenny said make sure you leave the washers out on the alloy bulkhead or it will raise the steering assembly
