Rb6 shock clear x rings

Does anybody know where I can get some Rb6 clear shock X rings please. Cant seem to find any in the UK.

Most of the shops don't carry these orings (org03X), most of the time distributors stock the kit orings and maybe the orange xrings (easier to find in Europe, work well) but you should be able to order them by asking a shop to order that part for you.

In case the part not available you could ask Pro Shop Futaba in Japan, they are very responsive and could have access quickly to a lots of parts.
Very nice people to deal with btw.

An easy way to cut down on shock friction is to polish the shock rods every time you rebuild the shocks, just put the threaded end in a vice (use soft jaws to avoid damaging the threads!!) and use a thin strip of polishing rag like a pulley around the outside of the rods with some metal polish (Autosol works great).

This produces a mirror finish on the rod so even with stock O-Rings the shock action is silky smooth, better than on a brand new set. Even after 15-20 shock rebuilds there is no noticeable change in the rod diameter.

I like the idea of X-Rings myself but I think using stock seals, changing them often and polishing the rods gives more consistent results as racing off-road is a harsh environment for an O-Ring seal and even the best seals available will drag foreign objects in over time.

I was never the world's best at setting a car up for the conditions but despite that I found that building the shocks like this and servicing them regularly made my cars fairly quick in any conditions, even compared to some of the faster guys I raced against at club level :thumbsup::thumbsup:
