For sale is the shown Chassis for the Graupner Porsche 959 in 1/10 scale and with a GP engine (should have around 2,5 ccm).
The car is kind of a project car since:
no body included
The muffler is missing
Also the radio plate on the rear side is gone; this is where the chassis is silver instead of gold; think some batteries got damaged at the pre-owner and the acid destroyed the gold finish of the chassis there
no belt cover is included
The engine can easily be pulled (I installed a new pull-start) but I haven't started it.
Small mods:
The rear shock stay was pretty flexible because of the construction. I therefore have bent some alloy bars and use them to stiffen the rear shock mount.
Also the steering link from servo to inner steering arm is sub-optimal. The servo uses an extremely big servo-saver (huge lever arm) and at the inner steering arm the outside mounting point was removed and can also not be used because other wise the steering is locked because of the big original pivot ball touching the chassis. Therefore normally the servo only rotates by 10° and then the steering is already at max. I therefore made a part from 3,0 carbon to move the linkage point to the outside and use smaller pivot balls and a different linkage. Thereby a proper steering should be possible.
The car uses bushings at the hubs but I installed two normal 5x11 bearings at the rear hubs.
If somebody spends some time on this one I can see a really nice ride. The transmission and suspension is constructed really well.
Price is 38 € without shipment.
Any question- just pm.
